SAN ANGELO —(Oct. 12)— Producers Livestock Auction offered 2500 cattle at a special replacement female sale. Most cows and heifers were sold by the head or pair.

Open: medium and large 1-2 heifers 670-730 lbs. $57.50-60, set 531 lbs. $335 per head.

Heavy bred: medium and large 1-2 heifers $570-670 per head, babytooth cows $580-650, solidmouth $520-615; medium 1-2 heifers $440-550, babytooth cows $490-510.

Light bred: medium and large 1-2 heifers $510-595, babytooth cows $510-560; medium 1-2 heifers $380-510, babytooth cows $400-470, solidmouth $375-450.

Pairs: medium and large 1-2 cows with first calves weighing 100-300 lbs. $600-700 per pair, set with 380 lb. calves $755, solidmouth cows with 100-300 lb. calves $600-680, solidmouth with 300-400 lb. calves $610-650; medium 1-2 with first calf, 100-300 lbs. $550-600, solidmouth with 100-300 lb. calves, $550-600, with 300-400 lb. calves, $610-650.
