Abilene Feeder Steers
Higher, Heifers Steady

ABILENE —(Nov. 10)— Feeder steers sold steady to $4 higher, the advance on weights under 500 pounds, heifers fully steady, slaughter cows and bulls $1-2 higher, stock cows and pairs steady. Receipts totaled 1850 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $101-110, 300-400 lbs. $97-104, 400-500 lbs. $90-96, 500-600 lbs. $71-78, 600-700 lbs. $65-73, 700-800 lbs. $63.50-68, 800-900 lbs. $62-65.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $78-88, 300-400 lbs. $77-87, 400-500 lbs. $70-78, 500-600 lbs. $65-73.50, 600-700 lbs. $61-67, 700-800 lbs. $59-63.50.

Slaughter cows: breakers 1000-1250 lbs. $27-29.50, boners $29-33, high dressing 1150-1350 lbs. $33.50-37.50, lean 900-1200 lbs. $27-31, 800-900 lbs. $26.50-30.50 under 800 lbs. $22.50-28.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $36.50-40, high dressing 1500-2100 lbs. $42-45.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young 850-1300 lbs. 5-7 months bred $380-490 per head; medium and large 1-2 young 1000-1300 lb. cows with 50-150 lb. calves $475-575 per pair, aged 1000-1200 lb. cows with 100-150 lb. calves $375-470.
