Goats Steady To Up

GOLDTHWAITE —(Nov. 9)— Feeder lambs sold $3-5 higher, slaughter lambs fully steady, slaughter ewes $2 higher; slaughter Spanish kids $3-5 higher, other slaughter goats fully steady, stock nannies steady; slaughter Angoras $3-4 higher. Receipts totaled 3200 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 65-80 lbs. $72-79; slaughter lambs 90-135 lbs. $63-67, utility 2-3 slaughter ewes $32-35, good 2-3 $37-40; Barbado lambs 45-70 lbs. $60-72 cwt., ewes 75-110 lbs. $37-44, ewes with lambs $20-23 each.

Angora goats: fat slaughter muttons and billies 80-120 lbs. $41-46 cwt., nannies 80-85 lbs. $36-43, kids 35-50 lbs. $72-83, yearlings 60-75 lbs. $57-62, thin nannies and muttons $25-35.

Spanish goats: choice and prime slaughter kids 15-35 lbs. $71-80 cwt., 35-65 lbs. $72-87, good $65-70, fat nannies 80-120 lbs. $43-49, muttons 70-120 lbs. $67-74, billies 90-200 lbs. $58-73; stock nannies $35-44 per head, nannies with kids $23-25, Boer cross nannies $55-75, kids $45-85, billies 90-190 lbs. $73-78 cwt.
