Angelo Feeder Lambs
Move Sharply Higher

SAN ANGELO — Feeder lambs sold $1-5 higher, the greatest advance on weights under 60 pounds and over 90 pounds. Slaughter lambs were untested, slaughter ewes $3-5 higher. Receipts totaled 8780 head.

There was no cattle sale Thanksgiving week.

Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 40-60 lbs. $80-87, 60-70 lbs. $78-82, 70-90 lbs. $72.50-77, few $79-81, 90-100 lbs. $70-75; medium and large No. 2 40-60 lbs. $70-80, 60-70 lbs. $70-78, 70-90 lbs. $65-73.

Slaughter lambs: choice 2-3 shorn and wooled 95-120 lbs. $70-75, few $76-79, 125-145 lbs. $65-67; good and choice 2-4 slaughter ewes $38-45, utility and good 1-3 $37.50-48, cull and utility 1-2 $30-38, bucks $38-47.

Meat goats: slaughter billies and wethers, 100-150 lbs. $65-110 per head, 150-200 lbs. $105-130; nannies 70-110 lbs. $47-57 cwt., thin 60-90 lbs. $38-47, choice and prime kids and yearlings 40-80 lbs. $78-86, set 103 lbs. $69, choice 40-80 lbs. $68-78, good 40-60 lbs. $58-68; stock nannies 60-90 lbs. $40-85 per head.
