Feeder Cattle Steady
SAN ANGELO Feeder lambs sold firm to $1 higher
this week, slaughter lambs weak to $2 lower, slaughter
ewes firm to $1 higher. Receipts totaled 12,797 head.
Feeder steers and heifers sold steady last week,
slaughter cows and bulls firm, stock cows and pairs
steady. Receipts totaled 3483 head.
The San Angelo auction will be closed December 22-31.
The next sheep sale will be Tuesday, January 5, and
cattle sale Thursday, January 7.
Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 40-60 lbs. $83-89,
60-70 lbs. $78-85, set $86, 70-80 lbs. $77-83, few
$84-85, 80-90 lbs. $74-77, 90-100 lbs. $70-75; medium and
