Graham Feeder Steer,
Heifer Prices Lower
GRAHAM (Dec. 14) Feeder steers and heifers
sold $1-2 lower, most steers under 450 pounds steady,
slaughter cows and bulls 50 cents to $1 higher, stock
cows and pairs fully steady. Receipts totaled 1196 head.
Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs.
$90-105, 300-400 lbs. $85-95, 400-500 lbs. $75-90,
500-600 lbs. $70-80, 600-800 lbs. $58-66.
Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs.
$80-94, 300-400 lbs. $75-90, 400-500 lbs. $63-75, 500-600
lbs. $60-72, 600-800 lbs. $55-63.
Slaughter cows: fat $39-32.50, cutter $30-34.50,
canner $28-32; bulls 1100-1400 lbs. $35-43, 1400-2000
lbs. $38-45; young bred cows $450-570 per head, aged
$375-525; young cows with calves $500-725 per pair, aged
cows with calves $425-575.
