Goat Prices Higher

JUNCTION —(Dec. 14)— Feeder lambs sold $3-4 higher, slaughter lambs $5 higher, slaughter ewes and bucks $5 higher; stock Angora nannies and muttons $10 higher, slaughter Angoras $3-5 higher; slaughter Spanish goats $6-8 higher, stock nannies $3 higher. Receipts totaled 2929 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 55-90 lbs. $77.50-87, choice and prime 2-3 slaughter lambs 85-95 lbs, $70-74, utility 2-3 slaughter ewes $41-44, good 2-3 $49-57, bucks $36-49; Barbado lambs 40-60 lbs. $69-74 cwt.

Angora goats: stock nannies 50-70 lbs. $51-65 cwt., muttons 50-80 lbs. $50-55; fat slaughter muttons and billies 85-115 lbs. $42-50, fat nannies 75-80 lbs. $40-46, kids 30-65 lbs. $69-82, yearlings 50-90 lbs. $60-65, thin nannies and muttons $38-45.

Spanish goats: choice and prime slaughter kids 15-35 lbs. $82-100 cwt., 35-65 lbs. $75-86, good $65-73, fat nannies 80-120 lbs. $50-58, muttons 80-145 lbs. $67-80, billies 80-155 lbs. $75-100; stock nannies $36-48 per head, nannies with kids $22-26 each, Boer cross kids 30-45 lbs. $95-111 cwt.
