SAN ANGELO — Feeder lambs sold firm in a limited test, slaughter lambs firm to $2 higher, slaughter ewes steady. Receipts totaled 9820 and included mostly slaughter ewes and about 35 percent goats.

There was no recent comparison to last week’s cattle trade due to the holidays. Receipts totaled 4202 head.

Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 50-70 lbs. $80-86, 70-90 lbs. $73-81; medium and large No. 2 50-70 lbs. $70-80, 70-100 lbs. $65-73.

Slaughter lambs: choice 2-3 shorn and wooled 90-125 lbs. $69.50-75, 125-150 lbs. $62-69; good and choice 2-4 slaughter ewes $38-45, utility and good 1-3 $40-49, few $50-54, utility 1-2 $33-40, cull and utility 1-2 $25-33, cull 1-2 $15-20, bucks $37-44.

Stock ewes: medium and large 1-2 babytooth $60-70 per head.
