LAMPASAS —(Jan. 6)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $3-5 higher, slaughter cows and bulls $4 higher. Receipts totaled 1150 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $98-109, 300-400 lbs. $87-98, few to $103, 400-500 lbs. $82-93, few to $99, 500-600 lbs. $71-80, few to $84, 600-700 lbs. $65-73, few to $79.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $73-84, 400-500 lbs. $67-76, few to $80, 500-600 lbs. $65-72, few to $77, 600-700 lbs. $63-67.50, 700-800 lbs. $58-60.

Slaughter cows: breakers 1000-1250 lbs. $35-38, boners $34-36, high yielding 1150-1350 lbs. $36.50-41, lean 900-1200 lbs. $32-33.50, 750-900 lbs. $29.50-31.50, under 750 lbs. $25-27.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $40-46, high dressing, $47.50-50.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young 950-1150 lbs. 4-8 months bred $43-51.
