CUERO —(Jan. 29)— Feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady except lightweights lower, slaughter cows $1-3 higher. Receipts totaled 1485 head. Feeder steers: weights under 300 lbs. $93-97, 300-350 lbs. $86-101, 350-400 lbs. $82-96, 400-450 lbs. $79-91, 450-500 lbs. $77-85, 500-600 lbs. $74-79, 600-700 lbs. $56-73, over 700 lbs. $58-71. Feeder heifers: 200-250 lbs. $75-90, 350-500 lbs. $65-80, 500-600 lbs. $65-72, 600-700 lbs. $60-64. Slaughter cows: boning cutter and utility $34-37, few high dressing $37.50-39.50, cutter $30.50-34, canner and low cutter $20-26.50; heavyweight bulls $40-44.50; bred stock cows $36.50-46. |
