Fat, Feeder Lamb Price Trends Mixed
Price trends on fat and feeder lambs were a little iffy this week. Feeder lambs found fairly good demand and stronger prices at Texas markets, where the volume picked up a bit from recent short supplies.

Feeder steers sold steady to $2 higher, heifers $2-3 higher, slaughter cows steady to $2 lower bulls $2 lower, stock cows steady. Receipts totaled 1237 head.

Llano Feeder Steers Lower, Heifers Steady
Feeder steers sold steady to $2 lower, heifers steady, slaughter cows $1-2 lower, bulls steady. Receipts totaled 409 head.

Most Cuero Feeder Steers, Heifers Up
Nearly all weights and classes of feeder steers and heifers sold $3-5 higher, slaughter cows and bulls steady. Receipts totaled 1175 head.

Goldthwaite Feeder Lamb Prices
Feeder lambs sold $3-6 higher, slaughter lambs steady, slaughter ewes and bucks steady; slaughter Spanish kids $2-6 higher, nannies $5 higher, billies and muttons steady, stock nannies mostly $3-5 higher. Receipts totaled 2300 head.

Lampasas Feeder Steer, Heifer Prices Higher
Feeder steers and heifers sold $2-3 higher, slaughter cows and bulls steady. Receipts totaled 789 head.

Milano Feeder Steers, Heifers Move Higher
Feeder steers sold $1-3 higher, some 500-600 pounds $4 higher, heifers $1-2 higher, slaughter cows and bulls $1-2 lower. Receipts totaled 1155 head.

U.S. Meat Production 2% Above A Year Ago
Total red meat production under federal inspection for last week was estimated at 870.3 million pounds, .5 percent more than a week earlier and two percent above a year ago. Cumulative meat production for the year to date was up .7 percent at 5.52 billion pounds.

Colorado City Feeder Cattle Prices Higher
Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $3 higher, slaughter cows and bulls steady, bred stock cows and pairs steady. Receipts totaled 727 head.

Kansas Direct Feeder Cattle Trend Higher
Feeder steers sold firm to $2 higher last week, heifers firm to $1 higher. Receipts totaled 15,389 head. Weather was mild with light rain and snow.

Graham Feeder Steer, Heifer Prices Higher
Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $2 higher, some lightweight heifers $3 up, slaughter cows $1-1.50 lower, bulls $1 lower, bred stock cows fully steady to $10 higher, pairs steady. Receipts totaled 1599 head.
