GOLDTHWAITE (Feb. 12) Feeder lambs sold
$3-6 higher, slaughter lambs steady, slaughter ewes and
bucks steady; slaughter Spanish kids $2-6 higher, nannies
$5 higher, billies and muttons steady, stock nannies
mostly $3-5 higher. Receipts totaled 2300 head.
Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 65-85 lbs.
$67-79, new crop 60-80 lbs. $87-93; choice and prime 2-3
slaughter lambs 100-130 lbs. $64-68, utility slaughter
ewes $28-34, good $35-45, bucks $33-45; medium and large
1-2 solidmouth ewes with baby to 40 lb. lambs $42-48
each; Barbado ewes $39-48, lambs 35-60 lbs. $62-81, bucks
70-120 lbs. $46-60.
Angora goats: choice and prime slaughter kids 40-65
