Turn Sharply Higher

JUNCTION —(Feb. 15)— A few slaughter lambs sold steady, slaughter ewes and bucks steady; stock Angora kids $5-10 higher, nannies steady, slaughter kids $2-5 higher, other slaughter Angoras steady; slaughter Spanish kids $10-20 higher, fat nannies $5-7 higher, muttons $10-15 higher, billies steady, stock nannies steady. Receipts totaled 3000 head.

Sheep: few medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 55-75 lbs. $72-85, newcrops 50 lbs. $95-96.50; choice and prime 2-3 slaughter lambs 90-130 lbs. $63-69, utility 2-3 slaughter ewes $29-34, good 2-3 $34-45, bucks $34-45; few young Barbado ewes 85 lbs. $48 cwt., lambs 30-45 lbs. $70-72; bucks 70-120 lbs. $70-120 per head.

Angora goats: few young stock nannies 60-70 lbs. $45-55 cwt., mixed kids in full hair 35-50 lbs. $83-91; choice and prime slaughter kids 30-55 lbs. $72-75.50, fat nannies $36-43, thin $25-38, muttons 80-105 lbs. $42-46.50, thin $25-38.

Spanish goats: choice and prime slaughter kids 15-35 lbs. $84-100 cwt., 35-65 lbs. $84-97, good 35-65 lbs. $75-84, fat nannies 95-115 lbs. $47-55, muttons 75-100 lbs. $74-85, billies 85-140 lbs. $62-68; few stock nannies $49.50-68 cwt.
