Roy Durr of Scott City, Kansas, sold for Moinse Cattle
Company, Santa Rosa, New Mexico, 269 steer yearlings at
$20.50 for March 10 delivery to B.E. Buehler of Scott
City.

George Farr of Datil, New Mexico, sold 400 steer
yearlings early this month to Vic Hansen, North Park,
Colorado, for delivery in mid-April at $100 per head.

Bob Lindsey of Borger, Texas, last week sold and
delivered 90 heifer yearlings to Gale Eastman of Amarillo
at $18 for shipment to Nebraska feedlots.

wooled feeder ewe lambs in the Eldorado area and one load
at Eden at $19 cwt.

G.W. Williams of Bovina, Texas, sold to Hance &
Bogle of Clovis 100 fed steers averaging 1013 pounds at
$22.25, delivered February 20.

Frank Fuller of Clovis bought two loads of 140-day fed
steers weighing 1040 pounds at $25.50 from Clark Mathers
of Miami, Texas, delivered this week.

Bill Porter, Clarendon, Texas sold one load of steer
yearlings weighing 505 pounds at $31 and delivered them
this week to V. Lee Matney, Amarillo.

Ben Sheppard, order buyer at Springfield, Mo.,
recently bought one load of good Angus springer cows,
weighing around 1000 pounds and just starting to calve,
at $242.50 per cow for a western customer.

Dick Weatherly of Panhandle, Texas, sold 100 heifer
yearlings, described as choice quality and expected to
weigh near 700 pounds, at $26.50 for March 1 delivery off
wheat pasture; they sold to an Amarillo buyer.

Al Gallo of Dalhart sold 150 steer yearlings expected
to weigh about 600 pounds at $33 for April 1 delivery off
wheat to a Dalhart buyer.

Ray Barr, Amarillo, bought 164 choice Angus steers
weighing 564 pounds at $23.50 from Richard Buckles,
Stratford.

Jerry Hartgraves, Eldorado, sold 500 two year-old
mutton goats to L.D. Woodward, Graham, at $11 per head
out of the shearing pens.

J.H. Davis, Hart, sold 54 Angus two year-old heifers
with 14 calves at $210.

T.W. Winters, Lampasas, contracted 2500 oldcrop lambs
to Red Bolton, Syracuse, Kan., at $18 out of the wool for
May delivery. These were expected to be in good flesh and
average 85-90 pounds at delivery.

Marketing Assn., Fort Worth, bought 250 good and choice
Hereford steers weighing 525 pounds at $24 from Neal
Musgrove, Childress.

Cliff Dobson, Phoenix, sold his large wool clip at
just over 50 cents; and Gunter Thude, owner of Paradise
Sheep Co., Chandler, Ariz., sold his clip of about 90,000
pounds at 48 cents.

weighing 925 pounds, 70 percent choice, at $26.15 and 230
steers weighing 1100 pounds, 65 percent choice, at
$27.25.

about 400 blackface spring lambs weighing about 80 pounds
at $30 to Swift & Co., Roswell.

delivery in the Wichita Falls area to Panhandle feeders.

No. 1-2 pelts weighing 100 pounds at $40.50.

week was estimated 602 million pounds, reflecting a
holiday, nine percent below the previous week and one
percent below last year.

The grazing fee increase for public rangelands for
1979 is about three times President Carters seven
percent guideline. The BLM fee for 12 Western states
jumped from $1.51 last year to $1.89 per animal unit
month, just over 20 percent.

120 pounds; some $70 quotations were given on
lightweights.
