CUERO —(Feb. 19)— Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to strong, slaughter cows lower. Receipts totaled 2278 head.

Feeder steers: weights under 200 lbs. $115-145, 200-300 lbs. $95-113, 300-350 lbs. $94-110, 350-400 lbs. $92-103, 400-450 lbs. $90-104, 450-500 lbs. $82-92, 500-600 lbs. $80-89, 600-700 lbs. $69-75, over 700 lbs. $62-75.

Feeder heifers: weights under 200 lbs. $95-140, 200-300 lbs. $85-97, 300-400 lbs. $80-84, 400-450 lbs. $78-84, 450-500 lbs. $78-80, 500-600 lbs. $68-74, 600-700 lbs. $61-69, over 700 lbs. $60-65.

Slaughter cows: boning cutter and utility $34-37, cutter $32-35.50, canner and low cutter $25-32; bred cows $32.50-47, some $510-600 per head; bred heifers $505-670; cows with calves $455-835 per pair.
