SAN ANGELO — Feeder and slaughter lambs sold steady this week, slaughter ewes firm to $2 higher. Receipts totaled 13,633 head including around 40 percent slaughter ewes and 35 percent goats.

Feeder steers and heifers sold steady last week, slaughter cows weak to $1 lower, bulls steady, stock cows and pairs moderately higher than at the last special sale in November. Receipts totaled 6053 head.

Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 60-70 lbs. $80-82, 70-90 lbs. $73-80.50, 90-100 lbs. $70-75.50; newcrop 40-60 lbs. $87-93, 60-70 lbs. $85-92, 70-90 lbs. $83-87; medium and large No. 2 70-90 lbs. $65-73, 90-100 lbs. $64-70.

Slaughter lambs: choice 2-3 shorn and wooled 100-135 lbs. $65-72; good and choice 2-4 slaughter ewes $40-48, utility and good 1-3 $42-52.50, utility 1-2 $38-44, cull and utility 1-2 $30-38, bucks $37-46.

Stock ewes: medium and large 1-2 solidmouth ewes with baby lambs $33.50-42 each.
