GOLDTHWAITE —(March 5)— Feeder lambs sold steady, slaughter lambs $3-5 higher, slaughter ewes and bucks steady; Angora goats not well tested; slaughter Spanish kids $3-5 higher, other slaughter goats steady. Receipts totaled 5000 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 65-105 lbs. $68-76.50, newcrop lambs 40-60 lbs. $86-95, 60-100 lbs. $75-88; choice and prime 2-3 slaughter lambs 115-135 lbs. $64-74, utility 2-3 slaughter ewes $34-43, good 2-3 $43-49, bucks $38-43; Barbado lambs 40-60 lbs. $60-78 cwt.

Angora goats: few thin slaughter nannies and muttons $34-46 cwt.

Spanish goats: choice and prime slaughter kids 15-35 lbs. $80-90 cwt., 35-65 lbs. $83-97, good $70-80, fat nannies 80-125 lbs. $50-55, thin $40-51, muttons 80-110 lbs. $75-87, billies 100-200 lbs. $70-80; young stock nannies 55-80 lbs. $49-61 cwt., nannies with kids $25-35 each, Boer cross nanny kids 45-65 lbs. $47.50-75 per head, nannies $55-130, billies $80-200.
