Cattle Prices Higher

COLORADO CITY —(May 8)— Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $1 higher, slaughter cows $2 higher, bulls $3 higher, pairs and bred stock cows steady. Receipts totaled 400 head.

Feeder steers: 200-400 lbs. $82-98, 400-500 lbs. $77.50-87.50, 500-600 lbs. $72-77.50, 600-800 lbs. 4a62.50-75.

Feeder heifers: 300-400 lbs. $76-82, 400-500 lbs. $67.50-76, 600-800 lbs. $58-66.

Slaughter cows: all grades $32-41.50, bulls $48-52.25; young bred stock cows $480-560 per head, aged $375-466; young cows with calves $590-695 per pair, aged cows with calves $450-600.
