Angelo Feeder Lambs
Higher, Cattle Lower
SAN ANGELO Feeder lambs sold firm to $1 higher
this week, slaughter lambs poorly tested and slaughter
ewes firm to $2 higher. Receipts totaled 13,046 head,
around 40 percent slaughter ewes, 20 percent feeder lambs
and 40 percent goats.
Feeder steers and heifers sold weak to $2 lower last
week, slaughter cows firm to $2 higher, bulls $1-3
higher, stock cows and pairs weak in a light test.
Receipts totaled 5700 head including 3568 calves at
Mondays' special feeder calf sale.
Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 40-60 lbs.
