GOLDTHWAITE —(Aug. 27)— Feeder lambs sold $1-2 lower, slaughter lambs steady, slaughter ewes and bucks steady; slaughter Angora goats $5-7 lower; slaughter Spanish goats $2-3 lower, stock nannies $4-5 lower. Receipts totaled 6000 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 40-80 lbs. $73-85; choice and prime 2-3 slaughter lambs 90-180 lbs. $68-78, utility 2-3 slaughter ewes $37-41, good 2-3 $43-50, cull $25-30, bucks $34-39; Barbado lambs 35-70 lbs. $55-69, ewes 60-95 lbs. $35-45, bucks 70-130 lbs. $45-65 cwt., breeding bucks $50-260 per head.

Angora goats: fat slaughter muttons and billies 75-95 lbs. $36-37 cwt., fat nannies 65-75 lbs. $31-36, kids 25-55 lbs. $54.50-63.50, thin nannies and muttons $25-29.
