Prices Termed Steady

ABILENE —(Sept. 7)— Feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady, slaughter cows and bulls $1 lower, stock cows $20-30 higher. Receipts totaled 1325 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 400-500 lbs. $90-99, 500-600 lbs. $81-87, 600-700 lbs. $73-77.50, 700-800 lbs. $70-75.75, 800-900 lbs. $65-68.50.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 400-500 lbs. $80-86, 500-600 lbs. $73-79, 600-700 lbs. $70-75, 700-800 lbs. $65.50-70.50, 800-900 lbs. $60.50-64.

Slaughter cows: breakers $30.50-35.50, boners $33-37, high dressing $38-39, lean 1000-1200 lbs. $32-35.50, 750-1000 lbs. $28-33.50, under 750 lbs. $25-29.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $46-52, high dressing $52.50-53.50, 1000-1300 lbs. $44-48.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young 950-1400 lbs. 4-8 months bred $530-630 per head, aged 1050-1250 lbs. 3-8 months bred $450-525.
