Angelo Feeder Lambs

SAN ANGELO — Feeder lambs sold weak to $2 lower this week, slaughter lambs poorly tested and slaughter ewes generally steady. Two day receipts totaled 17,050 head, around 10 percent feeder lambs, 55 percent slaughter ewes and 35 percent goats.

Feeder steers and heifers sold firm to $1 higher last week, slaughter cows weak to $1 lower and bulls $1-1.50 lower, stock cows and pairs moderately higher. Receipts totaled 5200 head including around 60 percent stock cows and pairs at a special replacement sale.

Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 40-60 lbs. $76-81, 60-70 lbs. $75-77, 70-90 lbs. $73-76.50, few $79-80, 90-100 lbs. $73-77; medium and large No. 2 40-60 lbs. $70-76, 60-70 lbs. $70-75, 70-90 lbs. $67-73.

Slaughter lambs: choice 2-3 shorn and wooled 90-130 lbs. $75-81, few $82; good and choice 2-4 slaughter ewes $35.50-44, set $46, utility and good 1-3 $40-50, few $50-54.50, utility 1-2 $29-39, cull and utility 1-2 $22-29; bucks $34.50-44.
