October delivery 500 No. 1 and better heifers to weigh
650 pounds at $76; in New Mexico for current delivery 350
No. 1 steers weighing 750 at $78; and in the Texas
Panhandle for current delivery 200 No. 1-1½ Okie and
crossbred steers weighing 825 at $75.

weighing 414 pounds at $90.53; to a Texas Panhandle buyer
three loads of No. 1 English and quarter-Brahman cross

similar heifers to weigh 470 at $89; for current delivery

confirmed by USDA totaled 450 head of medium and large
No. 1 heifers weighing 700-800 pounds at $70-71 f.o.b.

to 14,135 head. Medium and large No. 1 steers to weigh
550-575 pounds for November delivery brought $86-91.50,
625-650 pounds $84-85, similar heifers to weigh 480
pounds $87.50, 500-525 pounds $82-85.50, and 550-575
pounds $79-81; for October steers to weigh 500-550 pounds
were $90-93, 550-600 pounds $86-92, 600-650 pounds $85,
and 500-550 pounds $90-93.50, similar heifers to weigh
470-500 pounds $87-88, 500-550 pounds $80-86, 500 pounds
$90 for replacement quality, 550-600 pounds $79-83;
