The Vicente lambs at Vaughn, New Mexico, are reported
to have sold in the past week at $16.25 to an order buyer
at Roswell.

feeder lambs weighing around 75 pounds through H.B.
Mayfield, San Angelo order buyer, at $14.

Alvin Near of San Angelo this week bought 1500 mixed
lambs from Edmiston Brothers of Eldorado at $14 cwt. for
immediate delivery.

Neil Freeman of Dalhart sold 185 mixed calves at $19
and $21 for heifers and steers to Walter Smith of
Wyoming, Illinois, delivered September 23.

Owen Seamands of Clovis sold 225 steer yearlings to Ed
Hollenbeck of Dixon, Illinois, at $20 for October 15
delivery; these are expected to average about 800 pounds.

Roland Jones, Ocate, N.M., sold 200 heifer yearlings
weighing about 675 pounds for replacement purposes to an
out-of-state buyer at $32, delivered last week.

slaughter cows weighing about 900 pounds at $17 for
immediate delivery to Swift & Co.

received this week and last, 800 blackface mutton lambs
weighing 83 pounds at $16.50 from Pleas Childress, Ozona,
and a load of whiteface muttons expected to weigh 75-80
pounds at $16 from Douglas Cauble, Big Lake.

Brumley, Hereford, Texas, 150 steer yearlings weighing
about 875 at $26, delivered last week; also 173 steer
yearlings weighing about 730 at $26.80 for delivery this
week from Charlie Hays of Dimmitt.

A total of 2100 heifer and steer calves, mostly
Hereford-Angus crosses, were sold to Kansas buyers off 13
different ranches in Southwest Texas at $20-25 and
$23.15, weighing 350-400 pounds.

mixed calves weighing 390 and 410 pounds at $20 and
