SAN ANGELO — Feeder lambs sold $1-3 lower this week,

slaughter lambs $1-1.50 lower, slaughter ewes $2-5 lower, the greatest decline on cull. Two-day receipts totaled 18,100 head, around 60 percent slaughter ewes, 10 percent feeder lambs, five percent slaughter lambs and 25 percent goats.

Feeder steers and heifers were steady to $1 lower last week, slaughter cows and slaughter bulls firm to $1 higher, stock cows and pairs steady to weak. Receipts totaled 4250 head.

Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 40-60 lbs. $76-79, 60-70 lbs. $75-79, 70-90 lbs. $72-74, 90-100 lbs. $72-73; medium and large No. 2 40-60 lbs. $69-74, 60-70 lbs. $67-73, 70- 90 lbs. $65-70, 90-100 lbs. $65-69.

Slaughter lambs: choice 2-3 shorn and wooled 90-130 lbs. $73-77.50; good and choice 2-4 slaughter ewes $31-40.50, utility and good 1-3 $34-47.50, utility 1-2 $27-35, cull and utility 1-2 $20-23; bucks $30-40.

Goats: slaughter meat type billies 100-150 lbs. $50-100 per head; nannies 70-110 lbs. $35-45 cwt., thin 60-90 lbs. $25-35, choice kids and yearlings 40-80 lbs. $58-70, good 40-80 lbs. $45-55.
