Bulls For $2260 Avg.

SAN ANGELO —(Oct. 2)— Isa Cattle Company sold 197 Beefmaster bulls for $445,200 to average $2260 each, in their 38th annual bull sale here. Buyers were from seven states, Mexico and Brazil.

Saenz and Zambrano bought a half interest in the top selling bull for $9000. The top selling long yearling was purchased by Jo Ann Mendiburu, Bakersfield, California, for $6500.

Volume buyers were A. Duda and Sons, Florida, with 33 bulls; Lykes Brothers, Florida, 27 head; San Emigdio Cattle Co., California, 18; Jones Ranch, Texas, 16; Joe Mendiburu, New Mexico, 14; Pearce Flournoy, California, nine; Jody Wedgeworth, Texas, seven; and Rio Ranch Corporation, Florida, six bulls.
