Heart Of Texas Female
Sale Averaged $832

GROESBECK —(Oct. 2)— The Heart of Texas special female replacement sale offered 1041 cattle and averaged $832 per head. Pairs averaged $1006, bred cows $856 and open females $627.

The high selling lots by class included:

F Cross Ranch, Duncan, Okla., consigned 11 head of F-1 pairs, purchased by Pat Rutherford, Pearsal, for $1550. Timberline Ranch, Woodville, sold six F-1 bred heifers at $1700 to Williams Ranch, Claremore, Okla.

Noreco Cattle Co., Forestburg, sold seven Brangus pairs for $1000 to Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Browder, Stephenville. Glaspie Cattle Co., Bullard, sold 10 Brangus bred heifers at $975 to Rattlesnake Ranch, Crockett.

Bell Cattle Co., Gainesville, sold five Brangus baldy heifers for $925 to J.P. Garrett, Houston. Lone Oak Cattle Co., Stephenville, sold six open heifers for $750 to Ronnie and Claudia Bradley, Sante Fe.
