W4 Ranch 2 Year-Old
Bulls Average $1737

MORGAN, Texas —(Oct. 6)— The W4 Ranch bull and female sale sold 39 two year-old bulls for an average of $1737 per head. Forty-two and three-quarter yearling bulls averaged $1358, 42 Hereford cows bred to Brangus bulls averaged $1181, and 62 Hereford heifers bred to Brangus bulls averaged $635. The 80¾ bulls averaged $1546 per head overall.

The high selling bull went to Reagan Vestal, Gainesville, for $4500. Second high seller was bought by Jerry V. Cook, Cooleyville, for $2600.

The high selling pen of females went to Beth Briscoe, Needville, for $1425 per head. Second high seller was bought by Morris Lazy K Ranch, Marquez, for $1350.

Volume bull buyers were Jim Bell, Lufkin, Bridwell West Ranch, Wichita Falls, and White Ranch, Stowell.

Volume female buyers were Morris Lazy K Ranch, Marquez, Chick Howley, Dallas, and Verlon Baize, Groesbeck.
