SAN ANGELO —(Oct. 11)— Receipts totaled 2800 head at Producers Livestock Auction's special select female sale. All cows and heifers sold by the head or by the pair.

Heifers: medium and large heavy bred $600-710, medium 1-2 $530-600; medium and large 1-2 light bred $550-670; open three year-olds $515-540, 600-750 lbs. $440-500, 460-600 lbs. $438-440.

Young cows: medium and large 1-2 heavy bred $540-750, second-calf tigerstripes $800, light bred $470-675.

Middleaged: medium and large 1-2 heavy bred $500-730, light bred $450-650.

Pairs: medium and large 1-2 first calf cows with 100-350 lb. calves $670-870; babytooth cows with 100-300 lb. calves $650-815, with 300-500 lb. calves $750-835, several three-in-ones $850-1000; solidmouth cows with 100-350 lb. calves $580-760, set three-in-one with 400 lb. calves, $900.
