ABILENE —(Oct. 19)— Feeder steers sold steady to $2 higher, heifers $1-2 higher, slaughter cows steady to $2 higher, bulls $1 higher, stock cows steady to weak, pairs strong. Receipts totaled 1906 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $110-117, 300-400 lbs. $97-107, 400-500 lbs. $87-96, 500-600 lbs. $80-86, 600-700 lbs. $74.50-80.50, 700-800 lbs. $72-76.50, 800-900 lbs. $68-73.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $87-93, 300-400 lbs. $85-89, 400-500 lbs. $79-86.50, 500-600 lbs. $73-78, 600-700 lbs. $69.50-76, 700-800 lbs. $64-69.50, 800-900 lbs. $59-65.

Slaughter cows: breakers $31-35.50, boners $34.50-37, high dressing $37.50-38.50, lean 1000-1200 lbs. $31-36, 750-1000 lbs. $28-33.50, under 750 lbs. $26-32; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $43.50-49.50, high dressing $50-53.50, 1000-1300 lbs. $41-44.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young 900-1200 lbs. 4-8 months bred $510-590 per head, aged 950-1200 lbs. 5-8 months bred $400-500; medium and large 1-2 young 1050-1300 lb. cows with 100-200 lb. calves $560-650 per pair.
