Prices Move Higher

MILANO —(Oct. 19)— Feeder steers sold steady to $3 higher, the greates advance on 500-600 pounders, heifers steady to $1 higher, advance on weights over 500 pounds, slaughter cows and bulls $2-4 higher. Receipts totaled 1341 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $105-112.50, 400-500 lbs. $89-99, 500-600 lbs. $82-88, few $89-93, 600-700 lbs. $75-80.50, 700-800 lbs. $73-76.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $94-103, 300-400 lbs. $87-95, 400-500 lbs. $77-86, 500-600 lbs. $74-79, 600-700 lbs. $70.50-76.

Slaughter cows: breakers $31-33, boners $32.50-36.50, high dressing $37-39, lean over 850 lbs. $29.50-36, under 850 lbs. $29-33.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1450-2050 lbs. $42.50-48.50, low dressing $39.50-41.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young Brangus 1050-1200 lbs. 4-7 months bred $51.50-58; medium and large 1-2 young 1000-1200 lb. cows with 100-150 lb. calves $610-700 per pair.
