Fall Kid Inches Up;
Recent Sale $7.75

SONORA — Sonora Wool & Mohair Co. offered a total of 184,100 pounds of mohair last week. All moved with the exception of one lot, 15,500 pounds of fall yearling hair. A 3600 pound lot of fall kid hair topped the sale at $7.75.

Another 47,000 pounds of fall kid sold for $6.51-7.57, and a 9000 pound lot of spring kid sold for $5.58. A total of 24,000 pounds of spring young goat brought $4.30; 38,000 pounds of fall yearling sold at $4.165; 17,000 pounds of tops made $2.75; and 30,000 pounds of stain brought 90 cents.
