R.A. Brown Ranch Bulls
Average $1953 Per Head

THROCKMORTON —(Oct. 13)— The R.A. Brown Ranch 25th annual bull and female sale at the ranch averaged $1953 on 397 bulls and $1267 on 50 females. The 140 buyers were from 15 states and Mexico.

The high selling Angus bull went to Brown Cattle, Graford, Texas, for $6000. S&S Ranch, Graham, Texas, bought an Angus bull at $5000, and Brown Cattle also bought one at $5000.

Prime Rate Ranch, Miami, Fla., bought a high selling Red Angus bull for $3500, and Sue Eden, Lenepah, Okla., also paid $3500 for a Red Angus bull.

Spade Ranch, Colorado City, Texas, bought the high selling Simmental bull for $4000.

A Hotlander bull went to Dr. Bob Simpson, Paso Robles, Calif., for $4500. Stagg Cattle, Mount Pleasant, Texas, purchased a Simbrah bull for $2000. Senegus bulls topped at $2800 to Leachman Cattle, Billings, Mont.

Anne Dunn, Dale, Texas, bought the high selling Angus female at $3000, and the high selling Red Angus at $2100. Senegus females topped at $1200 to Daniel Bedlinger, Weatherford, Texas.
