LAMPASAS —(Oct. 20)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $1-3 higher, slaughter cows and bulls $1-2 higher. Receipts totaled 1648 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $101-115, 300-400 lbs. $99-108, few to $112, 400-500 lbs. $90-103, 500-600 lbs. $83-89, 600-700 lbs. $72-82, 700-800 lbs. $71-77.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $85-93, 300-400 lbs. $86-96, 400-500 lbs. $79-87, 500-600 lbs. $75-80, 600-700 lbs. $69-75.

Slaughter cows: breakers $27-30, boners $28.50-31.50, high dressing $34-37, lean 1000-1200 lbs. $28-30.50, 750-1000 lbs. $26-28, under 750 lbs. $25-27; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $41-44, high dressing $45-48.50, 1000-1300 lbs. $40-42.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young 1000-1400 lbs. 5-8 months bred $385-440 per head, aged 950-1000 lbs. 3-7 months bred $340-365; medium and large 1-2 young 1000-1400 lb. cows with 175-225 lb. calves $600-690 per pair, aged 1100-1150 lb. cows with baby to 125 lb. calves $510-550.
