MILANO —(Nov. 2)— Feeder steers sold steady, heifers steady except 500-600 pounds $1-2 higher, slaughter cows and bulls steady. Receipts totaled 1171 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $112-115, 300-400 lbs. $105-110, 400-500 lbs. $88-95, 500-600 lbs. $81-86, 600-700 lbs. $75-79, 700-800 lbs. $71.50-74.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $90-100, 300-400 lbs. $85-95, few $97.50-99, 400-500 lbs. $76-86, 500-600 lbs. $76-82.50, 600-700 lbs. $70-73, 700-800 lbs. $65-70.

Slaughter cows: breakers $32.50-33.50, boners $32-37, lean 1000-1350 lbs. $32-36.50, 850-1000 lbs. $28.50-33, under 850 lbs. $28-29; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1350-1750 lbs. $42-44.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young 900-1150 lbs. 4-8 months bred $42-47.50, set 785-860 lb. Brangus heifers bred 3-6 months $55-65.50; medium and large 1-2 young 850-1500 lb. cows with 100-275 lb. calves $600-670 per pair.
