SAN ANGELO — Feeder lambs sold firm to $2 higher this week, slaughter ewes uneven to mostly steady, a few utility firm to $2 higher. Receipts totaled 14,435 head, 50 percent slaughter ewes, 10 percent feeder lambs, five percent slaughter lambs and 35 percent goats.

Feeder steers and heifers sold steady last week, slaughter cows and bulls steady, stock cows and pairs moderately higher. Receipts totaled 3100 head.

Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 50-90 lbs. $78-82.50, few 60-65 lbs. $83-85, set 91 lbs. $80.50.

Slaughter lambs: choice 2-3 shorn and wooled 95-135 lbs. $72-80; good and choice 2-4 slaughter ewes $34-43, set $32.50 and a set $44, utility and good 1-3 $38-46, few $49, utility 1-2 $30-39, cull and utility 1-2 $25-30; bucks $30-40, set $42.

Spanish goats: slaughter meat type billies 100-150 lbs. $70-100 per head, 150-200 lbs. $100-150; nannies 70-110 lbs. $44-54 cwt., thin 60-90 lbs. $30-44, choice and prime kids and yearlings 40-80 lbs. $80-89, choice 40-100 lbs. $70-80, good 40-90 lbs. $60-70; choice Angoras 70-100 lbs. $38-45 cwt.
