LAMPASAS —(Nov. 17)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $1-2 higher, slaughter cows and bulls $1-1.50 higher. Receipts totaled 1718 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $101-110, 400-500 lbs. $92-105, 500-600 lbs. $85-92, 600-700 lbs. $74-80, 700-800 lbs. $67-74.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $90-101, 300-400 lbs. $86-97, 400-500 lbs. $82-89, 500-600 lbs. $75-83, 600-700 lbs. $70-78, few 800 lbs. $58.50.

Slaughter cows: breakers $27.50-29.50, boners $29-34.50, high yielding $35.50-38.50, lean 1000-1200 lbs. $29-31, 750-1000 lbs. $26.50-28.50, under 750 lbs. $25-27; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $41-45, high dressing $44.50-47.50, 1000-1300 lbs. $38-41.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young 1050-1300 lbs. 6-8 months bred $530-555 per head, aged 850-1000 lbs. 4-7 months bred $380-465; medium and large 1-2 young 1050-1400 lb. cows with 150-225 lb. calves $590-685 per pair, aged 900-1050 lb. cows with baby to 175 lb. calves $500-565.
