B. Kidd of Plainview bought a load of 54-pound, good quality lambs at Mid-West Feed Yards in San Angelo this week at 22 cents per pound.
Slaughter meat goat prices were mixed this week. San Angelo kids traded $5-15 higher. Light kids sold $10 lower and slaughter nannies were steady to $5 lower at Goldthwaite and Hamilton. At Fort Collins, Colorado, slaughter kids traded unevenly steady while New Holland, Pennsylvania kids sold mostly $10-20 lower, nannies and bucks were steady to $20 higher.read more
