Goldthwaite slaughter kids $5-10 higher, slaughter nannies steady, replacement nannies steady. New Holland, Pennsylvania kids and nannies sold weaker. Hamilton kids $10 softer, nannies $10-20 higher. Fredericksburg kids steady.

July Beef Exports Hit Record Value; Pork Value Strong Too

U.S. beef exports set another new value record in July, according to data released by USDA and compiled by the U.S. Meat Export Federation. July export value climbed 45 percent from a year ago to $939.1 million, while volume was the third largest of the post-BSE era at 122,743 metric tons (mt), up 14 percent year-over-year.
