Gene Prey of Amarillo bought 175 heifer yearlings from Ed Caskey, Amarillo, at $16.75 for August 20-September 10 delivery off Caskey’s ranch at Ragland, New Mexico. Prey also bought 30 registered yearling bulls last week from Charlie Kilgore of Amarillo at $200 per head.
