Slaughter lambs started gaining ground last week, and that trend continued mid-week. At Tuesday’s sale in San Angelo, slaughter lambs were $10-15 higher, with some heavier lambs posting $20 gains. Goldthwaite, Hamilton and Fredericksburg all posted steady to higher markets as well. Newell, South Dakota, and Fort Collins, Colorado, mirrored Texas markets, with heavier lambs making higher gains.
