ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — (USDA) — Total red meat production under federal inspection for the week ending September 12 was estimated at 932.3 million pounds. This was 2.2 percent lower than a week ago and 10.4 percent lower than a year ago. Cumulative meat production for the year to date was 2.
